The British Isles have variable weather that changes from day to day.
The sea has a great influence on the British climate and it rains one out of three days in the UK.
In winter it is cold and wet and the days are short. In Scotland summers are cool and rainy and
the days are very long, but strong winds are more frequent in the north than in the rest of the country.
In the south of the islands, summers are warm and rains are more frequent in Wales.
In England there are a lot of thunderstorms too.
Snow is very common in the mountains.
